First Tracks!

First tracks of the season! I couldn't wait till morning. Wiped on some quick glide wax and a little violet extra kick wax and headed over to Walnut Grove park to lay down some skinny tracks. There's definately enough snow on the ground, but grass was poking through. Hopefully the snow continues to drop tonight...

A Change In The Weather?

Soulcraft Lineage

MG, MW and I were all three on 29er's yesterday at Platte. What I didn't realize, and MG brought up was that all three of our bikes are from the same lineage. Sean and Matt, the Soulcraft wizards, came from Salsa. While Matt's Dos Niner isn't an original Petaluma Salsa, the history and the name remain the same.

Oh yeah, we also had damn near all iterations of "conveniences." Abundantly geared/suspended, abundantly geared only, and not-abundantly-geared/non-suspended. Nice!
